Located at the crossroads on the road into Playa Montezuma Costa Rica, Pizzeria Angulo Etrusco makes excellent thin crust pizzas, calzones, and pasta dishes for a modest charge. Downtown, the cooks at the Hotel Moctezuma offer Spanish fare such as paella, gazpacho, and tapas for more adventurous appetites.
El Sano Banano Village Café pays homage to Playa Montezuma Costa Rica’s hippie vegetarian past, offering hearty meatless sandwiches on homemade whole wheat bread and fish and vegetable casados for right around five dollars USD.
